Congratulations on having EnduroShield applied to your Shower Screen. EnduroShield for Glass is a permanent non-stick, protective coating for use on all glass surfaces. Using state of the art nanotechnology, EnduroShield acts as a permanent shield to seal the porosity of the glass hence protecting the surface and making it easy to clean. Enduroshield or any product for that matter, is NOT self cleaning, you still have to thoroughly clean your glass and or tiles weekly. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE TREATED SHOWER SCREEN FOR SIX HOURS AFTER APPLICATION.
Cleaning:
After the last shower we recommend you squeegee the glass to remove the water from the glass. Cleaning of the shower screen glass and tiles should be carried out weekly using Window cleaner
or undiluted white vinegar (leave soak for a few minutes) and a white non abrasive scourer pad, after cleaning always dry the glass.
Cautions
Harsh and corrosive or abrasive cleaning products are not required or recommended for use on EnduroShield. Use of these chemicals will void your warranty.
IMPORTANT
Some areas of Toowoomba and the Downs have much harder water than others. Without regular and thorough cleaning a slight build up of hard water deposits can appear on shower screens and tiles that can't be removed easily by normal recommended cleaning methods. Undiluted white vinegar (leave soak for a few minutes) can be used regularly to remove build up rather than allowing build up to continue. Some cleaning chemicals can be used regularly and safely to remove this build up and keep the glass sparkling clean. Please remember to use the non abrasive
scourer pad (you can scrub as hard as you like it won't hurt the coating).
Spray & Wipe, Bam, Shower Power, Pine o Clean, Exit Mould, CLR, and Windex are some cleaning products that can be used.
DO NOT use Gumption, Cream cleansers or Citrus products
Frequency of cleaning will have an effect on any build up and it must be said that Enduroshield and /or Easy Clean Glass cannot be held responsible for the quality of the water supply, especially in hard water areas or individual cleaning practices.
